- Whether the disability appeared abruptly or developed over time.

- Access to assistive technology, services, caregivers, or community support.

Design Considerations
- Normalize adaptation and changing needs
- Use affirming, non-patronizing tone
- Build for backwards and forwards compatibility (e.g. save progress, etc.)
- Provide consistent layouts to reduce cognitive load
